China earthquake: 12,000 dead, 26,000 still buried

China EarthquakeOver 12,000 people are believed to be dead after a massive magnitude-7.9 earthquake that struck the Sichuan province of China on Monday, May 11th. Twenty-six thousand are still believed to be buried in the rubble in the aftermath of what has been called the deadliest earthquake in China in 30 years.

In the light of recent protests over the BBC's alleged biased reporting on China, are the Chinese being overly paranoid, or are the Western media really biased in their reporting? What are the consequences for the Chinese in Britain of this PR war?

 
Chinese Youth Volunteering Project in London is recruiting young volunteers

Funded by Vinvovled project(formerly known as national youth volunteering programme), this youth project is run by CMHA (Chinese Mental Health Association), aiming to provide learning opportunities to young Chinese people aged 16 to 25 through volunteering work.
