True Heart Theatre brings together audiences across ages and cultures to remember the myths and stories from their cultural treasure trove, in the stage show Big Family, at artsdepot on Saturday 24 May.

Big Family is a show of two parts: Chinese Festivals in a Flash! is a delightful speed-run of the stories behind several significant Chinese festivals – in bilingual English & Cantonese. The audience are then invited to share their own real-life stories about festivals from both East and West. A team of actors re-enact the stories immediately, to create Living Stories - a kind of improvised theatre that is spontaneous, exhilarating, and often heart felt.

True Heart Theatre aim to create theatre which entertains, whilst encouraging cross-cultural understanding.
Big Family is a show for the whole family. Suitable for everyone over the age of 6.
