The slogan for the demonstration is 'Say No to Detention, Dispersal, Deportation', 'Refugees are welcome here'. The march will assemble at Malet Street London WC1 from 12:00 noon. Min Quan will start leafleting in Gerrard Street from 11:30am to commemorate two year anniversary of Dover 58, and will join the march at the front when the march go through Shaftesbury Avenue. All those wish to take part in the leafleting, please assemble at the stone lion in Gerrard Street from 11:30 am. To participate in the march, assemble at Malet Street from 12:00 noon. The demonstration for the Dover 58 will be part of a larger march through central London this Saturday to protest at the government's racist scapegoating of asylum seekers and the media's biased coverage. The demonstration will be addressed by array of speakers representing communities of asylum seekers, trade unions, political organisations and neighbourhood groups. |

Last Thursday saw the two year anniversary of the Dover 58. To acknowledge this, there will be a demonstration on Saturday 22nd June in London Chinatown under the banner 'Stop the War on asylum seekers'. The demonstration is organised by the Barbed Wire Britain, Campaign in Defence of Asylum Seekers, National Civil Right Movement and National Colition of Anti-Deportation Campaign.
