Closing Date: 17.00, Friday 8 December 2006 The London Development Agency (LDA) is inviting proposals from organisations/consultants to establish a pan-London Chinese Umbrella Business Network to promote and support the diverse and growing Chinese business community. The Chinese business community plays an integral part of London's economy. However take up of mainstream business support provision amongst the community continues to be low. Chinese businesses still encounter disproportionate barriers to the development and growth of their businesses particularly in securing private and public contracts, accessing start up and quality business support. This project will directly support Chinese businesses throughout London by improving access to information, networking, access to business opportunities and promotion of mainstream business support provision.
