Based in Rushden, Northamptonshire, Shenzhen born Chinese composer Jiang Li have just awarded a 3 year fellowship from NESTA (the National Endowment for Scince, Technology and the Arts) to develop his "Global Musical Calaboration Network".

Jiang Li was one of the first pop band members in Shenzhen city in the early 80's.

By using the latest internet and digital recording technology, the project will allow musicians from China and the UK to work together online in realtime.
