Organised by the Chopsticks Club, Li Xiuzhen, curator at the Terracotta Army Museum in Xian, and presently working on with the exhibition at the British Museum will be talking about the exhibition itself, her work at the Museum in Xian and likely future excavations in China, connected with the Terracotta Army. The venue for the talk is the Great Eastern Studios, a fabulous venue very close to Old Street Tube station (Northern Line via Bank) which has just launched monthly evening workshops on cultural communication and business etiquette to prepare for business meetings, negotiations and deal making with Chinese: click here more details. There will be a pay as you drink bar at the venue, but as all Chinese food brought in would be rather cold and congealed by the time it arrives, plans have been made to eat afterwards, informally at a local restaurant. (Food costs around £10/head, depending on what you order!). If you are interested in attending the talk or the food afterwards, please confirm by email with Theresa Booth at
