i admit to being somewhat confused at this most interesting verrbal fracas. is it implied that there is confused gender herein or just general confusion such as exists in the mind of my faboulously wealth landlord mrs confused.com who has been taking an unhealthy liberty with my laundry line?

i like puzzles, there are many puzzles in my life like who is harrison-daley? he or she or someone realeted to he or she had a grave stone planted on my grandmothers grave out of the blue sometime in the 1970s, with his or hers name encraved on it below that of my grandmother's family names.

by the way my swan has come back, alone alas, (maybe he is of confused gender). i always see him as a harbinger of something more than spring. does anyone know of any omens concerning the heaven's goose?

I am not finished this non-sequiter, i'll be back.

old kang

ps changed this puzzle also

Welcome on board, the Cathay Pacific Airway's fracas. I am just showing Cathay Pacific management how to deal with 'suspect' hijackers or terror suspects.

First you identify whether the 'suspect' is either a threat, before you press the 'panic button'. The 'panic button' should not be abused, e.g the boy that cried 'wolf' etc.

If you are truly confused, then try this for confusion. Women often used derogatory 'phrases and words' to belittle other women, e.g 'bitch' or 'son of a bitch'. I question Edwina's sexual orientation because of her frequent use of personal character assination techniques in debates or when crossing 'swords' with opponents, especially, when the opponents are of the female sex.

Edwina, whether you are male or female is not material or relevant. Also, your attempt at hijack has been identified and duly dealt with. In any debate all participants are 'A-Sexual', so using your technique to call me a menopausal hysterical woman, and you can add the word 'OLD' as well, is a sure sign of 'DEFEAT'.

Also, my hands up the posterior to take out compacted human waste products was once upon a time a technique used by nurses, when all produceres failed. This technique ensured the survival of demaented patients who cannot vocalise their discomfort. 'SOMEONE HAS TO DO THE DIRTY JOB'.

Also, measuring the volume in the CESSPITS are carried out by auditors working in local government to verify the contractors did not 'defraud' the rate payers. Once again 'SOMEONE HAS TO DO THE DIRTY JOB'

I do have a lot of 'CHIPS'. They come in frozen, fried in vegetable oil, and served with a variety of sauces. The one thing I do not do, is carry them; they are too much of a heavyweigth for 'AN OLD HYSTERICAL MENOPAUSAL WOMAN'.

Very Happy

Ouch!!!!! I feel your pain, Edwina

By the way, you are behind the times. We have moved on from needing to defrost frozen chips. You want chips, easy, put them straight into the fryer.

I think Cathay Pacific Airways must be 'Male' not 'transexuals' or 'A-Sexual' or Homosexuals.

All 'Homosexuals' I have met have been very nice, humane people. The 'transexuals' I had met, had been 'Fun People'. And 'A-Sexuals' should exist in all other areas of our life.

It is boring when you get people who has problems with their sexuality, waving their flags in our face.
Yes, Xue Ping, this is BORING Very Happy

Except for hetrosexuals, the sex part is only relevant in the bedrooms. Society has no problem with hetrosexuals.

For those of you who remain puzzled as to the nature of pensggs's complaint against Cathay Pacific, perhaps video evidence of the fracas will illuminate:

Good show, Hiro

Now, you have showed the extremes on one side, how about showing the Cathay Pacific pilot freaking out and risk the health and safety of a passenger, or delaying the journey of 500 passengers because he was ill equiped to make the right decision at the right time. Nor was his head steward or the pilot himself in charge of the knowledge of the facilities on board his ship (aircraft).

I placed a challenge on you to find the pilot freaking out because of his ego problem; and abused the international safeguard in place to protect passengers; to further his own end.

Bet 'Hiro' will come up with 'zero' with this challenge, because airlines like Cathay Pacific will not admit to this abuse of power.

By the way, I have enjoyed the show; those men looked helpless in coping with this 'hysteric woman' in the film. However, this 'hysterical incident' recorded still has not beaten the extreme case of 'hysteria' I had witnessed; that is a person who wanted to control all those around; that the said person convinced 'himself/herself' that he/she was paralysed from the waist down. The said person was in a chair to the day of his/her death.

Maybe the Cathay Pacific pilot believed himself to be beyond the rules of international standards of behaviour. Or are you 'Hiro', accept that your health and safety can be compromised by Cathay Pacific pilots to further his/her own agenda?

Can 'Hiro' becomes 'Hero' in defending the rights of every passenger to a safe air passage??? Wink

pensggs,

The more you say, the more contradictions turn up.

Time to give this a rest and think through what you are saying.

Edwina

Your good 'heart & soul' should be appreciated if and when the 'advice' is as good and as innocent as a newborn babe.

However, trying to control first by belittling, then by offering 'wise' advice do not carrying any 'ethos' or credibility

Suggest next time, when you want to appear 'nice and harmless', you should carry this image right from the onset of your first contribution.

As the issue I had raised about Cathay Pacific remains, and is as valid as your belittling attempts.

So, Edwina, suggest you do leave this thread if all you wish to do is to 'sabotage'.

We all dine in the same restaurant, and in this restaurant, all human kind partake differing meals. You cannot choos who sits in the next table, but you can choose to move to another table.

So, Edwina, do move to another table

pensggs,

That was a subtle strategy!

The standard office strategy of wanting to do what is not approvable is to declare that something is done to you, then do it yourself.

Subtle, but standard.

Stop victimising yourself, then you won't victimise others.

Edwina the Controller

The controller thinks she has control as to whether you are classified a victim or can be made a victim.

No one becomes a victim that do not view themself as a victim.

Edwina, suggest you deal with people rather than machines and technology.

Victims do not fight, victims accept. I will definitely not become one of your cyber victim. Very Happy

Do move to another table, Edwina, if your fellow diner is not to your taste.

A traditional chinese table is circular, and everyone has the same right to dine without being ousted by another guest.

Therefore, it is terribly impolite even to suggest another guest to leave.

Poor Edwina

First, this thread is my table and I am the host of this thread.

As you suggest, ' do not victimise yourself, then you won't victimise others'

Do take your own medicine, dear. Leave this table, then you would not become a victim by your own actions.

I reiterate.

'No one becomes a victim, who do not view themselves as a victim.'

Edwina, the controller chooses to classify me as a victim, and who can be a victim.

Edwina, you do need to start to deal with people not only machines and technology; who cannot answer you back.

You are wasting your time trying to make me your cyber victim. I have taken 'bigger bullies' than you and 'WON' in the 'REAL WORLD'. One of them was a lecturer in law, who happened to be a up and coming barrister, in the HIGH COURT. Oh, by the way, I refused to be the 'victim' and I did not have the legal qualification.

So, please do not become my 'victim' by leaving this table. Cheerio! Very Happy
