First up Cop flicks/shows
1) in cop flicks/shows u always have a cop who don't get on with any one in the Police force, a bad team player, argues with his superiors and don't take orders from anyone. Yet, improbably the dude is highly decorated and everyone thinks highly of him?!
2) Cops don't actually do any work and they are abysmal in criminal investigations during their worktime. Things only get better when they r forced to take a vacation by their superiors or get suspended. Then the cop kick ass and solves the case/nab the bad guy all by himself. Wot d'u need the rest the police force for when u get most of the work done by suspending one cop?
3) During above suspension or forced holiday, the cop has to hand back his gun to his boss which he does grudgingly. Then within 30 minutes he manages to get access to a whole box of guns and hand grenades which he uses to waste all the bad guys. Since most cop shows are set in the US, why would anyone want anyone to hand back their gun, why would any cop be unhappy about giving back their gun - when they can hit the streets and get tooled up in a local gun shop??
4) Why do the best cop on the job is divorced and/or has a relationship problem, has a drinking problem, dresses like he never does any washing or ironing - and somehow the pple he talks to are convinced this wreck of a man is actually a menace to the criminal fraternity.
5) Police interrogations always involve somebody being thrown around and beaten even thu few cops would get away with doing this in real life. Also why is any cop, especially a really old cop is somehow able to lift and throw a criminal - even thu the dude is over 6 foot tall and built like a brick sh*t house?
6) The hero cop is a good shot - even when he's got a poxy peashooter in a darkened warehouse filled with crims loaded with massive machine guns. And why are they such bad shots that they can't hit the cop even thu the dude is wearing a white shirt?
7) When fighting a group of pple, the good cop loses his trusty gun and is surrounded by bad guys with guns and all sorts of knives. So why do they take him on one at time and the guy with guns just stand there shouting 'go get him' until he is disarmed by the cop and his mates r killled off?
8) The cop hits a obstacle in his efforts to solve the case and he gets frustrated and goes off. He finds his feet on the case again when he shags some woman he meets up in a bar or with exwife/gf? In wot way does sex improve criminal investigations? Mebbe our cops aren't getting enuf.... |

| I've always wondered why, in American films and TV, people never seem to lock their car doors after they get out. Must have very low car crime over there :) |

| Or they don't mind strangers getting into their cars - u never know, find some strange dude in the backseat could be the highlight of their day!!! LOL |
