Ni hoa i am an English man who has met a very nice Chinese lady who i am dating one thing i would like to know is i found out that she is an illegal immigrant i would like to know what are the risks of me getting involved with her. xiexie ni TaylorMills

I don't think you face any risk in terms of legal action against yourself.
However, you risk separation from the one you may fall in love with. |

Sounds like you should seek several sources of advice:-
[1] Some advice from the Citizen's advisory bureau, which may involve talking about your rights as a UK citizen, entitlement to legal aid and so on,
[2] some legal advice from a specialist lawyer on immigration & marriage about your options and device a plan of action - before you approach the home office on immigration,
[3] talk to people who have been through this experience to see if you can pick up some tips.
Bear in mind that UK laws and politics on immigration has changed, and China is changing rapidly. |

| As long as you do not employ an illegal immigrant, I think you should be alright. There is a big fine if you employ an illegal immigrant. |
