Hiya

I'm getting married this year and I'd like to have a semi Chinese/English wedding with some traditional Chinese customs. Can anyone recommend any (apart from the egg one!)

Also does any one know where I can get a good Cheung Sam made in the london area?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

Many thanks

Wot about asking ur family about marraige customs?

sum of the rituals will depend on ur religion. Mine's taost/confucian so lots of announcements and rituals to inform the ancestors of the wedding, bathing rituals for both of the couple bf the wedding etc.

forfeits:
1) singing a love song,
2) making him list 5 things he loves about his wife to be
3) making him do a 100 press ups (normally allowed to be taken by his best men, as you don't want the groom to mess up his suit)
4) Providing a russian roulette style test e.g box of donuts and one of them has a filling of tabasco and chilli - this is another one where you really want the best men to take, as you don't want to give the groom food poisoning on his wedding day.
5) And of course paying the bridesmaids for the privilege of letting them through the door

We were a harsh group of women.
