Hiya I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about this...
i work in an office where everyone is constantly stabbing each other in the back and trying to be greater than each other by putting everyone else down. it's a real effort to be nice to people that are really two faced, and i find it really hard to deal with the situation.
At the end of the day I am really fed up with having to try and fit in to it all.
has any one else encountered these sorts of problems? if so how do you deal with this?
what tricks do people have? Help! it's driving me mad!
any suggestions would be great1

OMG! That is terrible, but oh so true!
Where ever you work, if there is some form of 'old school club Vs newbies' there will always be an element of back stabbing. THis also happens in environments where people are worried about their job future, moreso if there have been many cut backs within the firm.
Its down to poor management and communication.
You have to rise above the back stabbing and just get on with what your paid to do.
There are no right or wrong ways as to achieving the end result, or direction in which the company you work for is heading, but you have to make sure you look after number one - and thats YOU!
Have a chat with your line manager and tell them how you feel, it might make a difference as to how he/she approches any communications in the future, although maybe not much. |
