HI I'm new to london, and I was wondering if there are any decent clubs out there for the Chinese community. I have seen a few on this message board, but I was wondering if they were ay good?

Where do you guys go for fun?

As far as I know there are no Chinese clubs, though I think either Hippodrome or Fabric had a Asian dance music night with chinese beatz like dj disorientalist et al

Try something like roots studio or jah shaka; the vibes is irie and the crowds united by the moment in the sounds.

Thai Square around Traffalgar Square caters for orientals. However, the majority of people who go there are quite possibly underaged.

There are also various clubbing nights orgnaized by Shorty, Zen etc. Sorry, no weblinks, but I believe there is a Shorty party sometime in this month.

I believe there are organised Chinese events (i.e. club nights) around the country, you just have to know find them. Any mainstream "Chinese" clubs are usually invaded by obsessive English dudes who just wish they were Chinese.

Besides, why do you need to find a Chinese catered club anyway? If you're British, mingle in with the rest of the Brits! Its hard enough for society to accept Ethnic groups as it is, without us having to isolate ourselves. Enjoy!
