Can anyone recommend the best cheap deal numbers to ph0ne HK or China from the UK?

Hi,

www.ourfavouritecompanies.com is a good site to compare ph0ne costs around the world. generally the cheapest way is to call an access number from a landline which usually starts with 0844. You then dial the number in HK/China, etc. and don't have to pay any more than the cost of the 0844 call.

This page has deals for China. Ignore the "0p/min" option - there are a number of companies that charge 1p/minute, including mobiles.

Remember that 0844 numbers are usually charged at 10-15p/minute from m0bile phones, regardless of the advertised cost - check with your ph0ne company for details. You may be better off using the "topup" services which allow you to call an 020 access number out of your existing minutes. See the site for more details.
