Seeing as it's appropriate at the moment, does anyone actually like mooncake? Or do you just eat the yolk bit like me |

| I think moon cakes are an acquired taste. I used to eat only the yolks when I was young and now I love the whole thing. I have introduced many non-Chinese to moon cakes over the years and, on the whole, once they get over the yolk in the cake, they like it very much. Funnily enough, they prefer the filling bit to the yolk! |

| The yolk was my favourite when I was young. Nowadays, I love the whole thing equally. But the more yolks the better. |

|
|
| I've just had another piece of moon cake (four cakes in a box between two adults and two children will take us several weeks to finish) and it's made of red bean paste, and I've decided I prefer the white lotus seed paste variety of moon cake to the red bean one. Anyone agree? |

| I like them but, last time I looked, they were a good £20+ for a box of four? Is this still the case or has the world realised its just cake? |

| Nope, still £20 for 4. Well at least that's how much they were selling them in our local See Woo at the weekend. |

I dont like the egg mooncakes, or the redbean ones... in fact, I only like the chestnut mooncake!
I tell you what are great though - Ice cream mooncakes!
Cant believe it cost £20 for 4 in the UK... definitely an export opportunity for next zhongqiujie! |
