I read from earlier posts on this site that "Po" in Tellytubbies is Chinese. Wow! I suppose 25% of the World is Chinese so only fair that a quarter of the Tellytubbies should be also.

She was typecast as the "Red" Tellytubbie typical. I never saw her red book though!

[quote="ex-VAG"]Can't believe you thought Rachel Stevens was Chinese, or even half, she's so blatantly Jewish!![quote/]

Rachel Stevens is 1/4 Indonesian on her father's side.

Jewish is not a race. How can you "look" Jewish?

Jewish people can derive from Russia, Poland, Israel even China. Are you putting all these different people in one basket EV?

I think you need to stop generalizing.

A Jew can be from any race. Perhaps you are use to seeing Jews from a particular nationality who share features ect. but that is in no way representitive of Jews on a whole.

Perhaps people mistake Rachel for being Eurasian because she is. I repeat, there is no particular look to being Jewish.

I think you need to understand that being Chinese and Japanese is not a religious belief, whereas being Jewish is. That is all, a religious belief. It has nothing to do with race or ethnicity.

I disagree, you can spot a jewish person a mile off. Rolling Eyes

oh and a jewish female is called "JEWESS" so nur.

According to traditional Jewish Law, a Jew is anyone born of a Jewish mother or converted to Judaism in accord with Jewish Law. American Reform Judaism and British Liberal Judaism accept the child of one Jewish parent (father or mother) as Jewish if the parents raise the child with a Jewish identity. All mainstream forms of Judaism today are open to sincere converts. The conversion process is evaluated by an authority, and the convert is examined on his sincerity and knowledge.[16]

Judaism maintains that a Jew, whether by birth or conversion, is a Jew forever. Thus a Jew who claims to be an atheist or converts to another religion is still considered by Judaism to be Jewish. Thus, one's Jewishness is a technical measure, made in accordance with a standard definition.

The question of what determines Jewish identity was given new impetus when, in the 1950s, David Ben-Gurion requested opinions on mihu Yehudi ("who is a Jew") from Jewish religious authorities and intellectuals worldwide in order to settle citizenship questions. The question is far from settled, and occasionally resurfaces in Israeli politics.

LOL! YOu missed the point completely.

"......a Jew is anyone born of a Jewish mother or converted to Judaism in accord with Jewish Law.

Do you know what that means exvag?

Obviously not.

Agree with Boo-Yah on this guys unfortunately. You can't spot all Jew's a "mile off" that's just a sweeping statement and a tad rascist. Jew's are know to marry non-Jew's it's not forbidden it just means the non person has to convert for the marriage to be legal in Jewish law.
