Made in China: the singer poised to sweep the globe
She is a Mongolian nomad who sings in Tibetan, but that has not stopped Sa Dingding making it big in Beijing. Now Britain is to be given its first sample of her sound.

|
|
"CONGRATULATIONS" to Sa Dingding for she has won an award at the BBC Radio3 World Music Awards 2008(Asia/Pacific region). She collected her award at a winners' ceremony held in London last night (10th April) and BBC Radio 3 will broadcast the event tonight (11th April) at 7.00 p.m. on the 'Performnace on 3' programme.
I understand, Sa Dingding is the first Chinese singer from China to win this BBC Radio 3's music award. Good for her and I extend her my best wishes for a successful career in the music industry. |

Great article, Sunnyoke.
I look forward to her concert tour.
'Alive' is now my no.1 favourite album ahead of 'Life in Mono' by Emma Bunton. |

Very interesting article, Sunnyoke!
Quote: "Glastonbury festival is no longer interested in booking her because she is too controversial"
Sounds like she is not allowed to say that she enjoys her freedom in the grassland of China
But she doesn't need soggy Glastonbury. She is wanted everywhere as you can find out from this very well written article.
