The Chinese American author, AMY TAN, is involved in an opera based on her book 'The Bonesetter's Daughter'. The opera will be opening shortly in San Francisco (USA) as a world premiere, and is directed by CHEN Shi-zheng, who is also the director of the circus opera 'Monkey: Journey to the West', which was performed recently at the Royal Opera House, London. It is hoped that there are plans to bring 'The Bonesetter's Daughter' (Opera) production to the UK in the near future, and I will certainly go and see it, so will a lot of Amy Tan's fans in this Forum (I guess).
