Amy Cham - Residency at the Chinese Arts Centre, 13th Sept - 8th Oct.

Freefall Exhibition – 13th Sept – 26th Sept
Showing video works Chix Stix and Dancer.

Big Sister – 1st – 8th Oct
An interactive installation.

This installation will consist of a ‘diary room’ which will be staged within the residency space. Members of the public will be invited to come in and use the diary room as a space to talk, as well as being randomly summoned over the gallery tannoy system. Their image inside the diary room will be silently projected elsewhere in the Chinese Arts Centre, ensuring confidentiality in what they choose to talk to Big Sister about. This work will be both grounded in issues of relational aesthetics, and give people the opportunity to be themselves rather than a part of the anonymous urban mass.
