Hong Kong actor and singer Leslie Cheung is reported to have leapt to his death from the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong's central district on tuesday arpil 02. Police found a note in his room saying he was suffering from "emotional problems".

Cheung was famous for cantopop, as well as being in films such as 'happy together' and 'farewell my comcubine'...

I've heard about this from another website - apparently some pple thought it was a April Fools Day joke as news broke out on 1st April but in fact is was real. A sad day..and may the great man rest in peace..

A tribute Flash movie was doing the rounds recently. In typical HK style, the moving tribute included a lovely photo of the pavement where Leslie fell, pool of blood and all.
