BBC 3’s ‘Freaky Eaters’ are looking for people to take part in a new series of programmes

Do you have an unusual eating problem which controls your life?
Do you find many foods difficult to eat?
Do your friends and family think your eating habits are weird?
Are you at the end of your tether and desperate to sort out your diet?
Freaky Eaters is a series about people who live with unusual eating habits - maybe they have a food phobia or a food addiction they'd like help to overcome. Each week our resident nutritionist and psychologist offer advice and support to help individuals tackle their eating problems.

More car-crash TV for sad inadequates who cannot cope unless ordered about by the health Nazis.

Or are you some kinda racist who thinks its funny to post on a Chinese website to ask why we are picky eaters? Why we obsess about rice, eat odd things other people don’t and pick food up between two pointy sticks rather than use a fork?

Try posting on Jewish and Muslim sites and ask why they are picky about pork. That should give you a laugh.

You know how these programmes work Edwina.

We are the chosen freaky minority that gets the budget approved. They will also be looking for the quirky gay that people like, the dominant butch that everyone wants to kill, a straight white guy and a black rapper. I can hear the production meeting. "Chinese are funny eaters. Go and get one that has a eating disorder. Preferably one that hates Tibetans so we can force feed him/her Yak's butter."

I only drink human blood on a full Moon.

Is drinking bird's nest soup or eating chicken feet considered freaky enough, Melissa ?

Hi guys,
I'm not sure if any of you have seen the programme but we're gearing up for the third series. We feature people from a range of different backgrounds with a range of different eating problems. They're given professional help in order to overcome any food fears or addictions they may have. It was one of BBC 3's biggest factual hits of 2007.

At the moment we are spreading the word about the series and letting people know about the opportunity in a variety of different approaches. While you may not be interested yourself, you may know someone who is.

Thanks guys
Melissa
