Congratulations to celebrity chef Ken Hom for being awarded OBE in the Queen's Birthday List (June 2009).

I must confess I learn much of my chinese cooking skills watching his first BBC cooking programme in the early eighties. I think, he truly deserves the award for he has done so much promoting chinese cuisine in the UK.
