I'd be very wary. They will not transfer your old number and it is difficult to find this page working through the normal carphone site.
When you find the page it claims repeatedly to be a secure site but they are not use the secure protocol.
At best they are using a Chinese operator, at worse there is something very wrong about this page. Carphone normally uses premium rate customer services numbers, this page does not.
You get what you pay for. |

Hi chunxueping,
Thank you very much for your reply. I called the number and they confirmed the deal is correct. I think I might give it a go. I'm not sure yet, but if I do, I'll let you know how it goes!
Anyone else used it?
All the best.

It says theres no ties, and that you get 50 minutes to China each month for £6. |
if you use orange call abroad sim card, you can call china for 6p/min, i.e. 100 minutes for £6. there is also a company called IDT that do sim cards with similar rates. |

What is a SIM card?

| A lot of SIM have free calls associated with them as introductory offer. China operators hand them out at airports. So you grab a handful and it keep you in free calls for long time. Toss them away when they run out. They give you them in the hope you will register them to become a permanent customer so they offer further free texts or calls if you do. |
