Step Out Arts (www.stepoutarts.co.uk) is developing its education programme. We are looking for British East Asian workshop leaders and artists to expand our existing cultural education projects.

If you are currently working as a cultural workshop leader or a practising professional artist we would like to hear from you. We would also like to hear from those who have not got much teaching experience but would like to develop their skills in this area.

(East Asia includes: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Indonesia,Japan, Laos, Malaysia,Mongolia, North Korea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and their diasporas)

If you are interested in joining our programme, Please download the recruitment form from our website (www.stepoutarts.co.uk) and forward along with your CV and no more than 3 images (no more than 100kb in size jpeg/tif) to Development officer, Shih-Ching Wei at development@stepoutarts.co.uk . Deadline for receiving questionnaires is 5pm 15 July 2009.

Step Out Arts (SOA) was formed in 1995. It aims to promote Chinese culture and arts at its highest level to a broad audience through productions and
educational projects. In 2007/08 SOA was awarded funding from Arts Council England (ACE) for the delivery of it’s annual Jie–Qing festival and in 2009 SOA was awarded funding from ACE to set up a scheme to support and develop the careers of British East Asian choreographers -- a sector which is under-represented throughout the UK.
