At last, a functioning board! Well done to the team for getting rid of that knackered old messageboard! My only quibble is that the font used could be easier on the eye but otherwise, it looks good.

We've added a new 'lighthearted' section to the forum called "chat". Just for you Porks!
SP, font should be pretty standard?! |

Hi admin. Yes I guess the font is standard but I just thought a more visually appealing one could have been used e.g. the font used in the rest of the site for articles etc. Never mind! It's a big improvement anyway.
Also, is it possible for more old threads to be transferred to the new board? I'm especially thinking about one reslating to foot-and-mouth, Charles Campion and other campaigns, since these are still quite relevant to our community.

Hello Dimsum!
Are the site cookies working properly? I'm finding I have to log in every time I come back, even when I tick the 'log me in automatically' box.
Cookies are enabled on my browser, and the same thing does not happen on other sites.

Civil Liberties. Please state clearly and categorically what topics are banned here because it is not clear. If you allow freedom of speech then no topic is banned within the laws of freedom of speech.i.e. no abuse. or slander and that has to be proved. Do you know what the Declaration of the Freedom of Speech states? Please read it!
Is a direct quotation from BBC News considered prejudice? Is a quotation for The Times prejudicial? Is discussing the conflict in Iraq or Afghanistan prejudical? Is discussions of the Veil or hijab prejudicial? These are all topical subjects in the media and discussed the world over. Are these subjects banned in this forum? Please clarify and spell out the details fully for all to see! This is not a preferrential matter, it is a legal matter of the Human Rights act!
I state this because I feel that the editorial board is taking sides and I want it here for the world to judge! I hope you will not remove this post! I am making a hard copy! |

personally l would ignore him, l was in this forum
http://groups.google.co.uk/group/PoliticalForum
which he gave out in one of his post and people there insults him alot worse while l think people here are more than patient with him. in that forum there were people saying things like " elle sucks donkey dick " and were happy when they thought he had resigned. here he told us of his brilliant posts! he asked han nuan why she don't use her real name when elle isn't his name either, its his dog's...and his ego...generally l found him to be an unpleasant man...if l was nasty, l would start a poll and see how many people actually like him here...freedom of speech is a given right l agree with that but how about freedom of not listening?...l can't turn or shut my ears off but a person can always stop talking. |
