The British Chinese Society are always looking out for worthy registered charities to support. We are currently supporting the Islington Chinese Community Elderly Group in our forthcoming Treasure Hunt event on Sunday 25th May, and following the success of our 2002 Summer Ball where we raised £1506 for the Chinese Information and Advice Centre (CIAC), we are looking for additions to our shortlist of registered charities to support for this year's Summer Ball on August 16th.

Please contact us with nominations for worthy charities. Our only guidelines are that the charity is linked with the UK Chinese community and is registered with the UK Charity Commission.

wow, great work guys...

i know that the organisation Min Quan is after funds - they deal with racial harassment and attack etc, and are part of the Monitoring Group.

i'm not sure if they are a charity though - do you sponsor not for profit ogansiations as well?
