No wonder Kraft from the US wanted to take over Cadburys in UK. The chocolate industry in China is on the verge of booming, and they are bound to want to expand in China's markets.

The chocolate market is UK is very small now. You can tell by the cheap price ordinary chocolate is selling for the past few years. Loosing weight and high cost of dental care are the drivers I think.
Cadbury used to employ a lot more people than when they finally closed the Bristol plant. |
