Not as straightforward. Failed deal with Hummer not just because Tengzhong HIM Co failed to persuade Central Government that it was a good idea, but also that part of the idea to move the deal offshore and also China tax liabilities for GM in doing so may have contributed to the failure of deal.
We still got plenty of Hummers on Chinese roads. Very frightening when you are on a Flying Pigeon bicycle with useless rear brake! |

These dangerous obstructive machines should have airbags fitted to the rear triggered by collision detectors. |
