what is it about these people? when i was much younger i used to publish a free newspaper in my home town which i dont want to name because i did something not very nice there, i told them it was their bi centenary once and because i was reputed to be an authority on local history they believed me and put up a granite plaque on the town hall to mark the auspicious event. but i used to like to drink a lot in those days so i needed a way of raising money for drinlk. anyway to get back to my free newspaper i found i could get money by knocking on doors and announcing i had a free newspaper for them and it was only 20 pence!!!

i really do not understand this, would you buy a free newspaper? of course you would, its just because no one has sold you one yet

its the heat getting to me , i really want to be somewhere else at the moment like chasing my lao po in the forests of china. after thought, i really mean a hot steamy forest in china.

I don't know what the hell you're going on about, so I can't provide you an answer, if that was what you're asking for! Do you still have a drink problem? because you're a bit incoherent

Old kang, the old drunk again

Hope you are still chasing butterflies, or madam butterflies.

The summer is hot. It does get a bit steamy, especially when too much alcohol can start to play tricks in the mind.

Just watch your steps on those slippery stones whilst you are in your merry drunken state.

In my job, I get people merry with alcohol, I get visits from drunks wanting more of their poison chalice; I get sad people using alcohol as an escape from the real world but most of the time, I get people enjoying great relaxation amangst friends.

So, old kang, be merry; just do not trip over slippery stones into your river in your garden. I am sure your beautiful swan lady will not enjoy the company of an old drunk.

oddly enough i do not drink and haven't taken alcohol for over thirty years. its just my eccentric view of the universe which results in my cryptic non sequiturs.

so here is another one; a woman i know tells me that she has a dream about me. in her dream i have died and everyone is amazed at how much money i have left especially my two sons. (she was very exact about the amount of my sons legacies).

a day or two later another woman 6000 miles away tells me she had a dream about me and in her dream i have died and my two sons are amazed at the amount i have left for them as an inheritance, she doesnt mention amounts.

both these women know of the existance of the other but they have never met nor have they ever communicated with each other.

is this all there is?

no, i am walking in town contemplating nothing in particular. i meet a family i know well, they are pleased to see me as they need a letter written so i take them for coffee in order to facilitate the request. the husband thinks the letter cannot be completed in such short order as it requires my passport number. they are both astonished when i produce my passport from my inside pocket, no point in telling them that i have dreams too! i write the letter and swiftly leave.

so a third woman who knew me approaches and tells me that she had a dream about me in which i died and left an amazing amount of money and she is also very exact at the amount which i left as a legacy for my two sons and about the amount i left to two other women. what is strange is, that she knew one of the women (the first incidently) but she only felt that the other woman had once communicated with her though she didn't recognise her in the dream. the third one hasn't spoken to me for over three years!

touches of macbeth here maybe, maybe not.

well i could dwell and mediate on this or i could go out and locate all this money. what do you think i should busy myself with?

Kang,

Excuse my inexperience in dream interpretation, but I think you are subconsciously suffering from too much free love.

In your dreams, you felt the full force of the price you were expected to pay to your wife and mistresses, but the only people you want to inherit your wealth are your sons.

Afterall, Cleopatra wanted half of Anthony's Kingdom for free love.

This awareness is a heavy burden on any man with ladies in waiting.

You might just pay the heaviest price of all - losing your mind over it.

Free love, pah!
