A young friend of mine who works as a senior professional in the NHS has died while visiting a newly opened park in China.

Despite the state of the art facilities of the park, the poor safety standard of the design, poor staffing and accident provision led to a fatal accident. His parents must be devastated.

Even so, the park authority has not admitted fault.

Similar situation is widespread in China.

So if you are travelling in China, you must be ultra careful with every step you take. You cannot assume that facilities are safe. Invoke your best judgement.
