At last a chinese girl in eastenders! shame she has to be only selling videos though - a bit of a stereotype. Still she's very pretty and hopefully we'll see more of her in the future. the directors must have been reading all the BBC threads recently!

To be fair, all of the occupations you see in eastenders can be fitted into a certain stereotype if you look hard enough. Most of them are dead end jobs anyway, and it would have been worse to see her in a market stall, or for the ultimate historical fallback, working at the laundrette!

Looks like she was just an extra and yes stereotyped into selling DVD's. Thought she'd have more of a part seeing as it looked like Mickey had taken a shine to her, shame.

Only one gripe about Eastenders, where's the Chinese family run take away?

Well the whole show is a cliche isn't it, with people in their stereotypical roles, so I thought why not? They've had the Italians running a restaurant, the Indians DJ, dodgy dad and market stall, so when are we going to be represented?
Thought they could have a Chinese family turn up and buy Beales chippy

She came, went, came back and now gone again. Do we know why Mickey didn't take a fancy to her? I think I missed a few episodes.....
