Writing The World China 2008
Join award winning children's writer Jamila Gavin in finding out more about China - and write your own story. Polka Theatre is launching a story-writing competition for children over primary school age. Over the next five years we want children to write stories inspired by different parts of the world. In 2008, the focus is on china.
Jamila Gavin will be writing her own story about china, and sharing what she discovers on Polka's website. She will provide some special tips and hints on writing a great story, and then, from 4th April, you can read for yourself what she's come up with!
We're looking for interesting and exciting ideas. Characters we care about, and who spark our imagination as well as something that matters to you.
