Although lauded by British film critics and winning Golden Globes for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Director, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was so much a "crashing bore" to the Guardian columnist, Charlotte Raven that she even walked out early. The US embassy has replied refusing to admit liability much less agree to compensation. In addition they have refused to receive the petitions. Instead they have incurred delay by asking BVFS to send the petitions to the Pentagon themselves.
