Although it was all done under the disguise of a joke it was racist in my opinion and I was extremely offended by it. For example, the racially offensive term "chinky" was used repeatedly in reference to Chinese people. Other similar racist terms such as "nigger" in reference to people of African origins are no longer acceptable on TV or in civil society so why is this same standard not applied to people of other ethnic origins?

Did anybody else see this programme? Did you think it was racist or was it justified in the name of fun? Did I miss the point?

Perhaps it's just my point of view but I feel that people in society still think it is OK to be racist towards poeple of Chinese origin. People of black and Asian origins are relatively well represented on TV nowadays on some of the most popular programmes, shows, music, and in sport. I do not see many people of Chinese origin on British TV. The popular western stereotype of Chinese people in general is still a very negative one in my opinion. Will it ever change? Probably not!
