Whilst I in no way agree with all of the observations made by C. Lind, the response by J. Krause is extreme. The resort to pure insults makes the writer no better that the gutter journalism that dominates the British press.

I wonder what gives J. Krause (yet another non-British name) the right to represent the views of the Chinese community in Britain.

You question J. Krause's right to represent the views of the Chinese community in Britain, which is fair assuming that he's White or some other non-Asian background. But has it ever occurred to you that Mr Krause might be a half-caste Chinese or some other Eurasian background; in which case, he is perfectly entitled to represent the views of the Chinese community in Britain? It all depends on whether Krause is White or Eurasian.

Conversely, I do not think the Chinese community has any right to accuse people like William Joyce of treachery to this country, because it is not in our place to accuse anybody who is an outsider. How is it possible to betray a people who are not your own?
