is this the big ben or big bang awards??
anon II Posted 18:39 on 5 March 2009
Good idea. But, why have they announced to the public that people such as snooker players Ding Junhui, Marco Fu, and footballers such as Zheng Zi have been nominated? And I don't think Marco Fu even lives in UK, except for tournaments and perhaps training sessions.

Doesn't Big Ben in Chinese mean 'Big Stupid'??
Edwina Lee - Hi Anon II Posted 19:49 on 19 March 2009

I think this is just some publicity made by a bunch of UK Chinese business people who uses these "high praise" to flatter Chinese princelines like Guagua Bo.
Sharon - Guagua Bo Posted 13:59 on 21 May 2009
So Guagua Bo won, SURPRISINGLY, but what has he actually achieved or at least done compared with the other nominees? Not much, apart from being the child of someone famous. Oh, he went to university, oh Oxford, oh chairman of a UNIVERSITY society... WELL DONE indeed.

He's written a book as well. He probably has more claim to be there than the likes of gok wan.
