My name is Andrew Fawn, I am the Casting Director for Looking Over The Dragon, a feature film which is the directorial debut of Chris Bouchard, who's previous short film, The Hunt For Gollum received widespread acclaim and was featured on BBC NEWS. We are currently filming and are looking for a Chinese actress with a playing age of 40 years or older to play the role of MRS TONG. It is a lovely role, sharing scenes with the lead character, and a nice piece of gently comedy that comes when the film is at its' most tense. "Mrs Tong is a kindly Chinese old lady who lives with her husband across the street from main character Sirus in Hackney. Her husband tends to have trouble sleeping, and has born witness to Sirus & his wife who forget to close the curtains in their moments of passion across the street. It is up to Mrs. Tong to have a gentle word with him, but for Sirus, it's the last thing on his mind..." If you know of any actresses that would be interested, please do send them the details and ask them to contact me at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it We would need the actress for Mrs Tong for one day only, April 3rd and we shall be shooting in London. As this is a very low-budget production, regrettably there is no fee, but we shall cover travel expenses within London and provide food and drink during the shoot, as well as a copy of the completed film, invites to screening and other cast perks. The actress playing Mrs Tong will also be credited in the film and be listed on the official website "Looking Over The Dragon" amongst other industry trade websites. |
