Filmed on location in Taipei, Taiwan, and the mystical landscape of Yunnan, China, in the region known today as Shangri-La, Finding Shangri-La traces the story of Ji Ling, a bitter Taipei woman whose young son was killed by a hit-and-run driver who has escaped prosecution.
