Hi

I just got back from Taiwan, and im already missing the rice over there. Is it possible to buy proper asian rice in the uk?

I've already bought an electric rice cooker/steamer, so now im just searching around for some good rice.

My taiwanese girlfriends family buy Penglai rice(蓬萊米) so im looking for something similar to that.

thanks! Very Happy

Your local Chinese supermarket ought to have a nice range and, increasingly, your local Indian food store too... Ask around! I never understood the attraction with those electric rice cookers - what's wrong with a pot on the stove?
