looks awesome, might go have a look-see. =)

I haven't seen any british chinese film awards. =( [I've been following asian american groups like wong fu productions and each year in america, they showcase a asian american film festival, which seems quite cool if you ask me.]

There had always been very talented non-Hollywood Chinese filmakers, that legacy continues. I will be interested to know what the creative forces of influences and themes are in this current Chinese generation. Thanks for the post.

filmexpert - varifair's new film festi Posted 19:53 on 27 January 2010
After the embarrassment that was the first varifair film festival (poorly organised and designed) it appears we will have the unfortunate pleasure to experience this all over again, this time the china proud people are back sticking this vile repressed country down our throats, with one of the sponsors being...the chinese government, so expect no films that depict real true human nature, or the 'sweat shop' truth about china, and i'm sure there will be no mention of the dead baby girls lying all over the streets there, they want you to think china is just like us!
