The links in your two posts do not work, so I had to load your survey manually.
I have a few comments and questions, which may help improve your survey and get you more results.
(a) The link in this post fails because of a line break: 'The URL is incorrect...'
(b) The link in the other post jumps to the end of the survey: 'Thank you for taking the survey...'
(c) After page 2, a message shows 'Your session has expired and your response, if any, has been recorded.'
(d) Only the first three questions have been translated. Remove the language selection if your survey is to be in English only.
(e) What is your dissertation on, and how does this survey contribute to that? Does the membership of this forum and any other website you are posting the survey on meet the target audience for your survey?
(f) Give the survey a title, as the subject only becomes clear after completing the survey.
(g) Put the questions in an open way for the survey results to be fair and useful, as some of the questions are framed in a negative way,
'I doubt that the product purchased online will work satisfactorily'
'I am more exposed to financial risk than benefit from the product/service purchase online'
'I doubt that the product bought online will perform the functions described on the retailer's website '
(h) Check the questions, as in
'Have you use ever used a e-commerce website?' and
'I think that purchasing online is a financial loos'. Is 'loos' a misspelling of 'loss'? What does this question mean? Is the question biased?
(i) What does 'The general disposition of a website is important for me' mean?
(j) Make the nationality question a drop down list of the various nationalities, as otherwise people will just type in lots of different names and spellings. What bearing does a person's nationality have on his or her use of e-commerce?
(k) There is no validation to ensure that each question is answered, so the person doing the survey can pick and choose which if any questions to answer, which makes the survey returns meaningless.
Hope you find one or two of the points above helpful, and good luck with your survey and dissertation. |

To put it simply, the survey was thoroughly amaterish, and Lee deserves a 0 mark for the dissertation |

Edwina, this mocking is a little harsh on a new member who is asking for help, particularly coming from someone in a moderator/site admin rĂ´le.
Your time would be better spent removing the spam and spammers, such as
Asian Beasties - Ulysse
Future Faeces - Jenifer Angela
and
Tom's Scamware - pensize599 |

Xan, there is nothing wrong with Ulysses or Jenifer Angela's posts.
However, pensize599's posts have a funny URL that is normally invisible to me except if I searched for his name explicitly. It is a weird redirect which is highly suspicious but beyond my technical ability to investigate, so I'll just delete those hidden URLs. |
