Sarah Yeh
Sarah is the founder of Dimsum.co.uk. Initial concepts for Dimsum arose from her final year thesis - producing a magazine on arts and culture encompassing British ethnic groups.
Sarah is an award winning Creative Director who works in a global advertising agency. She has over 9 years experience in on and offline media and has worked extensively at a senior level for clients such as Levi's, BBC, Intel, HP and General Motors.
Sarah actively participates in Chinese community issues and is a board member of internationally reknowned theatre group Yellow Earth, committee member of Min Quan, the Chinese branch of The Monitoring Group, and was also a committee member of The Chinese Civil Rights Action Group (CCRAG UK).

Todd Tran

Todd is currently Managing Director of Kinetic Mobile UK, a mobile marketing company that is part of the WPP Group. Past experiences include working as a management consultant for Bain & Company, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on their corporate strategy. He has also helped launched 10 technology companies at a business incubator firm in the Silicon Valley.
Todd has lived in the UK since 2001 and in the USA for 20 years before that. He was born in Vietnam to Chinese parents and frequently travels to Asia.
In his free time, Todd is an avid traveller and food enthusiast.

Laiyan Man
Laiyan studied history and classical subjects at University before embarking on a career in marketing. Since graduating from University College London, she has worked for three major financial brands. She is interested in literature, the arts and the emergence and identity of Chinese communities in the West.
Laiyan is currently a Marketing Manager for a leading UK bank.

Luke Jackson
Luke grew up between cultures following his globetrotting parents to France, the UK, New York, Zimbabwe and California, finally experiencing some stability in rural Cornwall. However, he was soon drawn to multicultural London, graduating from Imperial College and the London School of Economics.
His increasingly rusty French is now being steadily replaced by Mandarin. He decided to learn the language to better communicate with his wife's family, only to be immersed in Hakka everytime he goes to China to visit them.
Luke has recently made the move from digital marketing to the finance industry to be able to relocate to Hong Kong, where he now lives. In his increasingly limited free time, Luke is oversees all the technical aspects of the Dimsum site. Luke is an avid traveller and foodie.

Hui Huang
Hui grew up in the Guangdong province of Mainland China. Her childhood coincided with the reform and opening up policy that have led to China's re-emergence as a global power.
She studied law at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou before coming to the UK to read a MSc in Management at Lancaster University. Hui's plans to return to China, however, have not yet materialised and she now lives in London with her British husband.
Hui loves travelling but has often found herself at the mercy of consular officials when trying to obtain the relevant visas. She also enjoys music, reading, dancing, theatre, cinema, and writing her blog for friends back in China.
Hui is responsible for running Dimsum's bimonthly networking events, as well as developing partnerships. During office hours, she is an account manager for a global Internet advertising company.

Richard Hong
Richard Hong is from Shantou in China's Guangdong province. He came to the UK in 2002 and graduated with a degree on Management and Japanese from the University of Durham in 2007. Currently he is working in a financial media company in London.
In his second year of university, he went to Japan as an exchange student and lived there for one year. With the experience of living in a different culture, he soon realised the importance of his own identity and the ability of integrating with people from different cultures. In 2004, he created MyShantou.net with his friends as a contribution to his home town, and also to answer people asking 'where are you from?'.
In his free time, he likes sports, socialising, reading and travelling.

Elaine Zhang
Elaine grew up in Shanghai. Before coming to the UK, she studied graphic design in Shanghai Jiao Tong University and then worked as a graphic designer for an online media corporation and a branding management company. She worked on a range of projects related to graphic design, web design and Flash animation. Elaine is currently for an MA In Graphic Design at the London College of Communication.
Elaine loves art and design. Although working overnight sometimes exhausts her, she still enjoys the design process very much. In her free time, she enjoys music, movies and dramas, travelling and cooking.

Jeffrey Ko
Jeffrey was born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK in 1996 at the age of 10. He graduated with a BA degree on Architecture from Oxford Brookes University. Currently undertaking an architecture graduate diploma course that gives part 2 qualification from the Architects Registration Board and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Jeffrey has strong interests in other design fields such as graphic and fashion and he spends most of his free time working as a freelance designer specialises in logo and T-shirt graphic design. His ultimate aim is to become an all-round designer and has taken the first step towards that goal by setting up his own brand and website ‘University of Unknown’

Simon Kwan
Simon was born, raised and now works in the metropolis of London. Having studied sciency subjects at university, by day he works within the world of numbers in the finance industry. By night he lets his hair down with “any sport that makes you move”.
Simon loves learning new things and is nurturing his new found love of music of all genres.
