Sometime in 2000, in The Tanglewood Center, Massachusetts, forty musicians bring the ancient Silk Road to life in New England. Among them are a Mongolian singer, an Iranian Setar player and the cellist Yo Yo Ma. Each brings a wealth of knowledge from their individual musical heritage. Combined, they share a common will to search for and discover the common ground of music making. |
