One of the stars in the film 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan' is a Korean actress by the name of Jeon Ji-hyon (also known as Gianna Jun). I first came across her in a Korean movie called 'My Sassy Girl', a love story/comedy, and one can watch the whole film now on Youtube (entitled " Sassy (1/15 ") starting from:

"Congratulations" to Deanie Ip (from Hong Kong) for winning the Best Actress award at the recent 68th Venice Film Festival 2011 in Ann Hui's film entitled 'A Simple Life (Tao Jie)', which I am looking forward to watch at the forthcoming 55th BFI London Film Festival (12th-27th October 2011).
