Peggy Su rides into town

By day, Kevin Wong works for a crime reduction charity, but during the evenings and at weekends, he's a scriptwriter penning such works as Peggy Su and BBC radio 4 plays including Green Fingers.

Dimsum's Doris Lee Butterworth met up with Kevin to discuss Peggy Su, which was screened at the Overseas Chinese Film Festival in Glasgow.

The Glasgow overseas Chinese film festival represents a rare opportunity to see a unique collection of British Chinese movies alongside some great classics. Re-finding common ground

Sometime in 2000, in The Tanglewood Center, Massachusetts, forty musicians bring the ancient Silk Road to life in New England. Among them are a Mongolian singer, an Iranian Setar player and the cellist Yo Yo Ma. Each brings a wealth of knowledge from their individual musical heritage. Combined, they share a common will to search for and discover the common ground of music making.
