The Cinema Museum, Kennington, is hosting an evening event on 26 March 2011 showcasing the life and work of Chinese American actress Anna May Wong, who defied cultural and legal barriers to achieve stardom in silent and talking pictures. A documentary about her will be followed by a Q&A with its director Elaine Mae Woo and a screening of the rarely-seen 1928 film Song, featuring Anna in one of her classic roles.
